Ohh but of course this is a real journal update!!

Edit: Awww man you still need to get a premium membership?? Did i misread that... thingy the admin sent?? oh well, knew it was too good to be true... anyway read on, this is a really good journal post, seriously.

Ah-hem, so!! Thanksgiving is over, I'm back in school.... T_T I enjoyed the turkey and the rest. I went ice skating for the first time (ok, technically second time, but my first time was when I was in third grade and I clung to the wall the entire time... DOESN'T COUNT!!) and the next day (and today too, actually... pretty sad) I'm still sore all over. WHO KNEW ICE SKATING WAS SOOO HARD??? After two hours I still can't skate. I was too tense and I kept slipping around and doing all these funny cartoon-y motions to prevent myself from falling. But I still fell.

XP WOE IS ME.

Anyway!! Now that I'm back in school, I have to worry about writing Edward Taylor-styled poems for English for this big project. I'm supposed to "emulate" five authors' styles... Bradstreet, Taylor, Ben Franklin, Patrick Henry, and who else? Oh yeah... Johnathan Edwards. For the Edward Taylor guy (his poem's all metaphor-ish and religious) I have to come up with an extended metaphor... and mine is:

A jar of flies!!!

See, men=flies in a jar (the lid is closed), and then this special "fly" comes into the jar (that's Jesus) and he tells them, "Hey if you believe me I can get you out of this jar!" (and into Heaven!!)

Darn, I had half of it written out (and rhyming and everything) but it's on my other computer, I'm too lazy to go get it, so maybe I'll post it some other day...

Maybe not. It's pretty hilariously embarrassing (as I'm sure you all know already).

That jar of flies thing isn't even that original... I was "inspired" (or you can say relieved of the stress of coming up with something profound all on my own) by a priest at this Chinese church we went to a few months ago. He told an analogy similar to this jar thing. LOL and you thought I was so creative!!

Oh yeah, and I went to see Ninja Assasin YESTERDAY. OOOOOOOMG IT WAS SOOOOOO GREEEEEEEEAAT! Haha, no. I mean, it wasn't as TERRIBLE as everyone keeps saying, but obviously it wasn't really amazing. But at least I liked some of the action. And the romance! (Even if it was the slightest bit and lamest bit of romance ever). And OMG I can't believe it was Rain! Lol I didn't even know he was the main character until I came home... I was thinking "he looks so familiar" the entire time I watched the movie and I didn't even realize.

Ok! So now you know what has been going on in my oh-so-fascinating life!! AU REVOIR MES AMIS!
